Mr Bush's Comments:
WWW: The use of background information, including the directors name and the voice-overs he does. Also, the use of bullet points and the simple sides used to illustrate the charcters representation and the images of them, also as the slides do not have much written on them and are basic, in which allowed me to expand. Furthermore, the presentation is also well structured. In addition, it also includes key concepts such as the basic information about the text, the target audience; representations of the characters; narrative themes; media values and ideologies and the media institutions.
EBI: If the voice was louder and more enthusiasm was showed, in order to show more expression. Also, the pace of the presentation needs to be faster and the body language needs to be improved. In addition, media terminology needs to be used and the text should be linked to theories. When making points relating to the text, the points need to be ellaborated and more examples need to be given about the text. Lastly, the ending needs to be improved, as it ended instantly.
My Comments:
WWW: I think that my presentations basic information was simple and easy to understand, in which it allowed me to expand on my points. Moreover, the slides were simple and did not contain too much text. Also, the structure of the presentation was good as, all the key concepts were explained and set out on different slides.
EBI: To improve my presentation my voice could have been louder and i could have shown more enthusiasm. I could have used media terminology and explain the key concepts in more detail. Also, my ending could have been better as it ended instantly, which let me down on my structure.
